Jaier Training
Our training program starts with the Four Areas of a Soccer Player's Development: Technical, Tactical, Physical, and Mental. Soccer is 100% mental and should be addressed with every aspect of the discipline of soccer. The mental should not be separated into its own area but rather permeate everything we do. When we do a technical or physical session we must also address the mental aspects such as work ethic, commitment, and frustration. The technical and mental go hand in hand, the tactical and mental go hand in hand, and the physical and mental go hand in hand. You can't have one without the other if you really want to be successful.
Playing for Jaier is not for everyone. It can be challenging for players because we stress the mental side of the game. Players need to think while they play rather than simply kick the ball. We believe that decision making is the most important aspect of the game and it drives the Jaier curriculum. Everything in the game of soccer revolves around making confident decisions. Confident decision making should be the goal of training. Confident decision making is also very important for successful team play. It's our job as trainers to instill the mindset of confident decision making in Jaier players so they can realize this confidence on the field.
